New Delhi: Senior bureaucrat Vikas Sheel, a 1994-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre, is set to take over as the next Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh.

Sheel was appointed as Executive Director at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Manila, in January 2024 for a three-year tenure.
