Vinay Kumar (IAS) assigned additional charge as CVO of NHAI

IAS officer Vinay Kumar (IAS), who is currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, has been given additional charge as CVO of NHAI

New Delhi: The Govt has announced the entrustment of additional charge of the post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to Vinay Kumar (IAS). Kumar is a 1999-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Bihar cadre.

Kumar, who currently serves as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, has been entrusted with the additional responsibility for a period of six months from the date of assumption of charge, or until the appointment of a regular CVO at NHAI, or until further orders—whichever is earlier.

The decision follows a proposal submitted by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, which was approved by the Competent Authority, as per the official memorandum dated June 30.
