New Delhi: Virendra Kumar Yadav (IRSEE) has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Heavy Industries under the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on July 14, Yadav has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years with effect from the date of taking over the charge of the post until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Yadav is an Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) officer of 2011-batch. He was recommended for the Central deputation by the Ministry of Railway. "He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignments in the Department of Heavy Industries," the order further reads.
