Vivek Aggarwal (IAS) given additional charge as Tourism Secretary

ACC has approved the assignment of additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, to Vivek Aggarwal (IAS)

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the assignment of additional charge of Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, to Vivek Aggarwal (IAS). Aggarwal is a 1994 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre. He is currently serving as Secretary of the Ministry of Culture.

According to the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the arrangement comes into effect immediately and will remain in force until Srivatsa Krishna, IAS (KN:1994), assumes charge as Tourism Secretary, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
