Yashika Mehta (IFS) appointed as Deputy Secretary in Petroleum Ministry

Yashika Mehta (IFS) has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG)

New Delhi: Yashika Mehta (IFS) has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG). Mehta is an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer of 2016-batch. She was recommended for the Central deputation by the Ministry of External Affairs.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on March 13, Mehta has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of three years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

“She may kindly be relieved of her duties immediately with instructions to take up her new assignment in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas,” the order further added.
