Adani Green receives LoA from SECI for setting up 300 MW wind power project

Ahmedabad: Adani Renewable Energy Holding Fifteen Limited (AREHFL), a subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has received the Letter of Award (LoA) for setting up 300 MW wind power project from state-run Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), the company said in an official statement on Monday. The fixed tariff for this project capacity is Rs 2.77/kWh for a period of 25 years. Adani Green has won the project under the tender issued by SECI for setting up 1,200 MW ISTS-connected wind power projects (tranche-X).

With this, Adani Green's total renewable capacity now stands at 15,165 MW, of which 3,395 MW renewable power plants are operational and 11,770 MW projects are under implementation, said Adani Green Energy.

The news comes just days after Adani Green Energy signed a share purchase agreement for the acquisition of 100 percent stake in an SPV holding 50 MW operating solar project of Toronto-headquartered SkyPower Global on March 20. Adani Green Energy has one of the largest global renewable portfolios with 15 GW of operating, under-construction and awarded projects catering to investment-grade counterparties. The company develops, builds, owns, operates and maintains utility-scale grid-connected solar and wind farm projects.
