83 students of OIL Super-30 qualified JEE (Advanced) 2020

83 students from six Oil India Limited (OIL) Super-30 centres have secured ranks in JEE (Advanced) 2020

New Delhi: Under Oil India Limited (OIL)'s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative 'OIL Super-30', 83 students from six OIL Super-30 centres have secured rank in recently held JEE (Advanced) 2020 exams for securing admissions into prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and other reputed institutions across the country. Earlier, 158 students qualified JEE (Mains) 2020 out of 170 students from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families enrolled in OIL Super-30 centres in Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Jorhat & Nagaon in Assam, Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh & Jodhpur in Rajasthan. OIL is a Navratna PSU and India's second-largest India's second-largest national exploration and production company. 

The centre-wise results are as under:

From Jodhpur 28 students have qualified out of 30
From Jorhat 16 students have qualified out of 20
From Dibrugarh 11 students have qualified out of 26
From Guwahati 13 students have qualified out of 27
From Itanagar 07 students have qualified out of 28
From Nagaon 08 students have qualified out of 27

Thus a total of 83 students out of 158 have secured in JEE (Advanced)
