Coal India extends support to create infrastructure at HIAL

CIL through its CSR initiative, will help set up infrastructure for the School of Experiential Learning and a student hostel at Himalayan Institute of Alternatives (HIAL), Ladakh

New Delhi: Coal India Limited (CIL), through its CSR initiative, will help set up infrastructure for the School of Experiential Learning and a student hostel at Himalayan Institute of Alternatives (HIAL), Ladakh. An MoU to this effect was signed at Ladakh in the presence of Coal India's Director (P&IR) Vinay Ranjan and HIAL's Founder & Director Sonam Wangchuk.

Rajan also laid the foundation stone for creation of these infrastructure facilities. Speaking on the occasion, he reiterated Coal India’s commitment to sustainable and green energy and expressed hope that the school will prove to be one of its kind and address the needs of the people of Ladakh.
