CSR: ECIL provides healthcare equipments to govt of Telangana

Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has provided healthcare equipments such as thermal scanners to the government of Telangana to fight Coronavirus

New Delhi/Hyderabad: COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the lives of millions, as also the economy. While the city of Hyderabad is at the forefront of the battle against COVID-19 with the development of the vaccine, it is important that all possible precautionary measures to minimize the spreading of Coronavirus be taken. In this endeavor, ECIL has developed an innovative indigenous solution based on a thermal camera for entry point screening.

Hyderabad-based PSU Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has handed over the healthcare equipments – "Thermal Scanners" to Jayesh Ranjan (IAS) Principal Secretary to Government, Industries & Commerce, Information Technology, Electronics & communications, the government of Telangana under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) on November 24.

These equipments will be used for entry point screening of personnel to combat the spread of COVID-19. These items will be installed at Secretariat Office, BRKR Bhavan, Office of Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, Office of Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad and Telugu Samkshema Bhawan visited by a large number of people.

On the occasion, ECIL's Director (Finance) Anirudh Prasad Singh, Director (Personnel) Samir Mukherjee, Executive Director (Security) Anurag Kumar, Head (P&A) Asifulla Baig and SDGM (Security) Santhaiah were present.
