New Delhi: Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) has strengthened its commitment to public health by contributing significantly to the fight against tuberculosis (TB) in Telangana. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, MIDHANI has sponsored a TRUENAT machine, valued at Rs 16.55 lakh, to aid in the early detection of TB. This advanced diagnostic tool is expected to accelerate diagnosis and facilitate timely medical intervention.
The TRUENAT machine was inaugurated by MIDHANI's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) N Gowri Sankara Rao, and was handed over to the Institute of Preventive Medicine, Narayanguda, Hyderabad. The event witnessed the presence of key members from MIDHANI, including A Ramakrishna Rao, General Manager (HR), K Mabhubala, General Manager (F&A), Harikrishna V, Addl. General Manager (HR), and AR Rashmi, Senior Manager (HR) Prominent TB officials, including Dr A Rajesham, Joint Director (TB), and Dr Chaladevi, State TB Control Officer, also attended the event and lauded MIDHANI's efforts towards making India TB-free.
With these impactful contributions, MIDHANI continues to uphold its commitment to societal well-being while catering to the nation’s strategic needs.
