HMEL signs MoU with ALIMCO for CSR initiative

Noida: HP-Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation Of India (ALIMCO). HMEL is a public-private joint venture company of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) and Mittal Energy Investment Pte Limited (MEIL), and ALIMCO is a Miniratna PSU company under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, for distribution of aids and assistive devices to divyangjan under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The MoU has been signed between ALIMCO and HMEL in presence of ALIMCO's Chairman and Managing Director Dr R Sarin, HMEL's Managing Director (MD) and CEO Prabh Das, HMEL's Director Ashok Kumar and other senior officials of both organisations at Noida on September 20. Under this MoU 'ALIMCO will distribute aids and assistive devices worth Rs 40,0000 among divyangjan in Bhatinda, Punjab,' the company said in a press release.
