NCL to provide healthcare equipment of Rs 95 lakhs to Singrauli to fight COVID-19

New Delhi: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), the Singrauli based Miniratna company will provide healthcare equipment of about Rs 95 Lakhs to Singrauli District under its corporate social responsivity (CSR) initiatives. An MoU in this regard has been signed between NCL's General Manager (Jhingurda Area) SP Singh and Chief Medical Health Officer (Singrauli) RP Patel on Tuesday. This initiative will strengthen the fight against COVID-19.

On the occasion NCL's General Manager (CSR) Atmeshwar Pathak and other key officials were also present on the occasion.

NCL has already given Rs 20 crore to MP govt to fight against COVID and Rs 5 crore to UP Govt to procure 50 Ambulances besides other measures taken to curb COVID-19. Distribution of Ration, Masks, the sanitizer was done on a massive scale in Singrauli and Sonbhadra district during the lockdown period. NCL is playing a pivotal role in decisive combat against the COVID-19 pandemic in collaboration with the district administration of Singrauli and Sonbhadra.

NCL is a flagship subsidiary company of Coal India ensuring the energy security of the nation with more than 100 Million Tonne coal production annually.
