NHPC and Cheshire Home India collaborate to support challenged persons

New Delhi: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between NHPC and Cheshire Home India, Delhi Unit on on Wednesday at Faridabad for providing medical care and nutritional support to the physically and mentally challenged persons residing at Cheshire Home India, Okhla Road, Delhi Unit.

The MoU was signed by GM (CSR&SD), NHPC and Retd. Major General Vijay Krishna, Member Managing Committee, Cheshire Home India in the august presence of Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel), NHPC and ED (CSR&SD), NHPC. Under this MoU, NHPC will provide financial support under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.

Under the MoU, NHPC will provide medical and nutritional support for one year to the physically and mentally challenged people living in Cheshire Home India, Delhi unit through Cheshire Home India, Delhi unit. Further, arrangements will also be made to appoint doctors, nurses, psychiatrists and attendants for the care of the physically and mentally challenged people.
