The exchange took place in the presence of SN Panigrahi, CGM (HR), NTPC NRHQ, Dinesh Badola, Ranger, Lucknow Zoo, and other officials.

Under the agreement, NTPC NRHQ will provide financial support for the adoption of four lions and three Royal Bengal tigers. The initiative also includes the installation of two multi-tap water facility systems within the zoo premises to support animal welfare and improve visitor amenities.

NTPC NRHQ has been actively supporting the Lucknow Zoo through CSR initiatives in recent years. During the previous financial year, the organisation adopted a White Tigress and a Giraffe and extended assistance for animal care and upkeep. Additional support included the provision of a battery-operated vehicle for senior citizens and visitors, construction of an entry plaza as a visitor rest area, and procurement of an immobilisation gun along with supporting equipment.
