Implemented in association with Parivar Education Society, the initiative is currently operating across 25 villages in Singrauli, providing supplementary education and nutritious meals twice a day to local children.

According to the company, the programme focuses on holistic development through activities such as sports, yoga, storytelling, painting, handicrafts, moral education and creative learning, aimed at improving confidence, discipline and communication skills among children.

More than 2,000 children are currently benefiting from the centres. Each child undergoes a foundational assessment to identify learning capabilities and ensure education is delivered according to individual pace and understanding.

The initiative also aims to prepare students for admission into residential government institutions such as Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Eklavya Model Residential School and Kanya Shiksha Parisar.

NCL said that in December last year, 89 students from Seva Kutir centres appeared for the Navodaya Vidyalaya entrance examination, with teachers assisting them in application procedures and exam preparation. In addition, applications of 131 children were submitted for admission to Eklavya schools.

The company highlighted the success stories of students including Sunita Devi, Vikas Baiga and Neelam Devi, who successfully cleared the entrance examination for Eklavya Model Residential School after receiving support under the initiative.
