PHDFWF inaugurates Ajit Singh Rana Memorial Skill Center to empower underprivileged youth

According to PHDFWF, the building housing the skill centre was donated by RS Rana with the objective of uplifting the local community and providing meaningful opportunities to youth from disadvantaged backgrounds

New Delhi: PHD Family Welfare Foundation (PHDFWF), in partnership with Jaquar Foundation, has inaugurated the Ajit Singh Rana Memorial Skill Center at Old Seemapuri in Delhi to provide vocational training and skill development opportunities to underprivileged youth.

The centre was inaugurated in the presence of PHDFWF Chairperson Anuradha Goel, along with Rajesh Singh Rana (IAS), his mother Rajwati Rana, and CSR Head of Jaquar Foundation Kanwar Shamsher. Members of the family of late RS Rana and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.

According to PHDFWF, the building housing the skill centre was donated by RS Rana with the objective of uplifting the local community and providing meaningful opportunities to youth from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Addressing the gathering, Rajesh Singh Rana highlighted the importance of giving back to society. He said that the skill development initiative aims to help young people realise their potential and build better careers. He also congratulated the beneficiaries enrolled in the training programmes and wished them success in their future endeavours.

The event was attended by members of the PHDFWF Governing Board, family members of late Ajit Singh Rana, and local residents, marking a step towards strengthening community-based skill development initiatives in the area.
