Power Grid to supply medical equipment for cancer patients in Safdarjung Hospital

Power Grid has signed an MoU with Safdarjung Hospital for the supply of medical equipment for urology cancer patients under its CSR initiative

New Delhi: State run Maharatna power PSU, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi on Thursday under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. Under this MoU, Power Grid will supply medical equipment for urology cancer patients in Safdarjung Hospital.

The MoU has been signed by Power Grid’s Director (Personnel) Dr VK Singh and Safdarjung Hospital’s M S Dr BL Sherwal in presence of senior officials of Power Grid and Hospital. "These machines will be beneficial for advanced urological cancers," Power Grid wrote in a twitter post.
