REC to support education project of Haryana CSR Advisory Board

REC Limited has committed financial assistance to the tune of Rs 1.01 crore to Haryana CSR Advisory Board under its CSR initiative

New Delhi: REC Limited, a leading NBFC, through its CSR arm REC Foundation has committed financial assistance to the tune of Rs 1.01 crore under its CSR initiative to Haryana CSR Advisory Board. As part of the project, more than 10,000 candidates in five districts of Haryana will be provided assistance for accessing the digital platforms of more than 80 central and state competitive examinations along with 250 hours of preparation and practice in various subjects and unlimited access to online mock tests. The project is also aimed at ensuring equal opportunity of employment for candidates by providing them training in accessing various job openings online.

The CSR project has been inaugurated by Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar on April 9 in the presence of REC Limited's Director (Technical) Sanjeev Kumar Gupta and REC Limited General Manager ML Meena along with other officials of REC Limited and REC Foundation.
