Sinha is currently serving as Additional General Manager (HR) at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). His appointment follows the recommendation made by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) in its selection meeting held on November 27 last year.

He was selected from among nine candidates who appeared before the PESB panel. The shortlist included three candidates from SAIL, two from Engineers India Limited, and one each from BHEL, NTPC Limited, the Indian Navy, and the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).

With over two decades of experience in human resource management and leadership roles in the public sector, Sinha is expected to bring valuable expertise to Troop Comforts Limited, a defence PSU under the Ministry of Defence. The company is engaged in the manufacturing of troop comfort items for the Indian Armed Forces and other uniformed services.
