New Delhi: Amal Kumar Chakrabarty is set to be next Director (Finance) of Troop Comforts Limited (TCL), a PSU under the Ministry of Defence. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Friday. Presently, he is serving as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL).
Chakrabarty has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of TCL from a list of seven candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB Selection Panel in its selection meeting held on May 16. Out of seven candidates, three candidates were from BHEL, two from THDC and one each from and one each from Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited (HSCL) and Steel Authority of India (SAIL).
