BDL inaugrates Vigilance Awareness Week on Oct 31

New Delhi: Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has commenced the Vigilance Awareness Week today. "It was inaugurated by P Radhakrishna, Director (Production), BDL, with an Integrity Pledge. The event took place at BDL's corporate offices, located at Kanchanbagh,  Bhahur and Visakhapatnam," said a press release issued by BDL.

N Srinivasulu, Director (Finance), BDL, Dr Upender Vennam, IPoS Chief Vigilance Officer, BDL and other senior executives attended the event.

Activities planned by BDL to celebrate Vigilance week

"During the week-long celebrations, competitions on elocution, slogan writing, poster/collage making and quiz will be held for employees of the company, their spouses and children and students of DAV School, Bhanje, to spread vigilance awareness. BDL is also organising a vendor meet in its Bhanur unit to spread awareness among its vendors," said the release.

BDL has also planned to organise a walkathon at Bulkapur Village, near Shankarpally, it added.

BDL will be organising workshops/sensitisation programmes regarding the role of CVC, CVO and Vigilance Complaint Policy of CVC, PIDPI resolution, etc. The PSU will also be conducting sessions on 'Understanding Functioning of Vigilance and Preventive Vigilance' for the newly inducted management trainees as a part of their induction programme, said the statement.

A guest lecture will be organised by BDL, Kanchanbagh Unit during the Vigilance Awareness Week.
