New Delhi/Hyderabad: A webinar on 'Indigenization Opportunities for Industry' has been organised by Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) on Saturday as a part of "Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav" celebrations. The webinar was aimed at explaining the various vendors about the current and future opportunities available at BDL for taking up indigenization.
BDL's General Manager (Milan & CP-KBU) Ch. Ramesh Babu inaugurated the webinar. BDL has taken up the indigenisation of a number of components/subsystems for its products, which has led to substantial savings.
Further, the company has uploaded several items for indigenisation in 'srijandefence.gov.in,' a portal created by the Ministry of Defence.
