BEL bags additional orders worth Rs 1,081 crore

New Delhi: State-owned defence electronics major Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has secured additional orders worth Rs 1,081 crore since its last disclosure on May 25, further strengthening its order book.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking said the fresh contracts comprise a range of defence and strategic equipment, including communication systems, radars, CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) protection systems, seekers, avionics, upgrades, spares and services.

BEL has been consistently securing new contracts across various segments of defence electronics, contributing to the country’s indigenisation and self-reliance initiatives in the defence sector.
