New Delhi: Navratna defence public sector undertaking Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has secured additional orders worth Rs 572 crore since its last order disclosure on June 22, further strengthening its order book.

In a regulatory filing on Monday, the company said the fresh orders include contracts for the supply of communication equipment, avionics, encryptors, tank sub-systems, electronic voting machines (EVMs), batteries, components, upgrades, spares and services.

The latest order wins add to BEL's robust order inflow during the current financial year, reflecting continued demand for its defence electronics and diversified product portfolio. However, the company did not disclose the names of the customers or the execution timeline for the contracts.
