BEL pays final dividend of Rs 224.28 crore to Govt

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) paid a final dividend of Rs 224.28 crore for the financial year 2022-23 on October 25

New Delhi: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) on October 25, 2023 paid final dividend for the financial year 2022-23. BEL's Chairman & Managing Director (Additional Charge) Bhanu Prakash Srivastava presented the 60 percent final dividend cheque of Rs 224.28 crore, payable on the shares held by the President of India, to the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, at New Delhi on October 25.

The company had paid the first interim dividend of 60 percent (on face value of Rs 1 per equity share) in February 2023 and the second interim dividend of 60 percent (on face value of Rs. 1 per equity share) in March 2023. The company has thus paid a total dividend of 180 percent on its paid up capital for the year 2022–23.
