New Delhi: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) on Monday reported an 8 percent year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit for the first quarter of FY 2026-27, driven by robust growth in revenue from operations.

The company posted a net profit (Profit After Tax) of Rs 1,048.33 crore in the April-June quarter of FY 2026-27, compared with Rs 969.13 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year, registering a growth of 8.17 percent.

Revenue from operations rose 25.27 percent year-on-year to Rs 5,533.06 crore during the quarter, up from Rs 4,416.83 crore recorded in the same period last year.

BEL's Profit Before Tax (PBT) stood at Rs 1,402.83 crore in the first quarter of FY 2026-27, reflecting an increase of 8.81 percent over Rs 1,289.24 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of FY 2025-26.

The company also maintained a healthy order pipeline, with its order book standing at Rs 72,258 crore as on July 1, 2026, providing strong revenue visibility for the coming quarters.
