BEL registers 23% growth in net profit in Q1 of FY'2023-24

BEL has achieved a turnover of Rs 3446.69 crore, registering a growth of 12.51 percent during the 1st Quarter (Q1) of the current financial year (FY 2023-24)

New Delhi: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has achieved a Turnover of Rs 3446.69 crore, registering a growth of 12.51 percent during the 1st Quarter (Q1) of the current financial year (FY 2023-24) over the turnover of Rs 3,063.58 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year (FY 2022-23).

Profit Before Tax (PBT) during the Q1 of FY 2023-24 stood at Rs 703.75 crore, registering a growth of 21.73 percent over the Profit Before Tax (PBT) of Rs 578.10 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Profit After Tax (PAT) during the 1st Quarter of FY 2023-24 stood at Rs 530.84 Crore, registering a growth of 23.02 percent over the Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 431.49 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The order book position of the company as on July 1, 2023 stood at Rs 65,356 crore.
