BEL secures Rs 569 crore orders at start of FY27, strengthens defence portfolio

New Delhi: Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has secured orders worth Rs 569 crore at the commencement of the financial year 2026–27, marking a steady start to its order inflow for the year.

The company said that the orders span a wide range of advanced defence and electronic systems. Major contracts include supply of avionics systems, electronic warfare (EW) systems, high-energy laser solutions, and communication equipment.

In addition, BEL has received orders for tank sub-systems, laser-based fuzes, and test equipment, along with contracts related to upgrades, spares, and services. These orders reflect the company’s continued focus on strengthening indigenous defence capabilities and providing comprehensive lifecycle support to the armed forces.
