BEL secures Rs 569 crore orders at start of FY27, strengthens defence portfolio

New Delhi: Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has secured orders worth Rs 569 crore at the commencement of the financial year 2026–27, marking a steady start to its order inflow for the year.

The company said that the orders span a wide range of advanced defence and electronic systems. Major contracts include supply of avionics systems, electronic warfare (EW) systems, high-energy laser solutions, and communication equipment.

In addition, BEL has received orders for tank sub-systems, laser-based fuzes, and test equipment, along with contracts related to upgrades, spares, and services.
