New Delhi: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bit Mapper Integration Technologies Pvt Ltd (BMIT) to collaborate on the design, development and manufacturing of advanced electronic solutions for defence and aerospace applications.

The partnership will focus on building capabilities in critical technology domains such as Electronic Warfare (EW), naval radar systems and drones. The collaboration is aimed at developing advanced electronic modules, subsystems and systems, while enhancing indigenous design and production strengths in line with India’s self-reliance goals in defence technology.
The MoU has been exchanged between BEL's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Manoj Jain and CEO of BMIT Amit Mahajan in the presence of senior officials from both organisations, including BMIT Vice President (Airborne Solutions) Vivek Joshi; BMIT's Business Development Manager Mahesh Pore; and BEL's General Manager (Strategic Planning) Ruchi Pant.

The strategic collaboration is expected to accelerate the development of advanced defence electronics and aerospace technologies, while contributing to strengthening India’s domestic manufacturing ecosystem in high-end, mission-critical sectors.
