New Delhi: Unistring Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (UTS), a Hyderabad-based defence electronics company and a subsidiary of Zen Technologies, has secured an order worth Rs 30.01 crore from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for the design, development and realization of an advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) system.
The project is focused on enhancing indigenous Electronic Warfare capabilities in alignment with the Government of India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make-in-India initiatives. The system will incorporate advanced radio-frequency signal sensing and signal-processing technologies, configured to meet the operational requirements of the Indian Armed Forces.
The development programme will be carried out in close technical coordination with designated DRDO laboratories and will adhere to prescribed performance, reliability and qualification standards.
Commenting on the development, Dr. Nagendra Babu Samineni, Managing Director, Unistring Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., said the order reflects confidence in the company’s technical capabilities and experience in the Electronic Warfare domain.
The project will be executed at the company’s facilities in Hyderabad and is expected to contribute to future Electronic Warfare operational readiness, while also strengthening the company’s indigenous intellectual property base.
