Under this collaboration, GRSE and AMS will focus on joint research and development (R&D), co-production, and supply of critical defence solutions, including underwater weapons and vehicles, underwater mines, underwater communication systems, and air defence systems. These advanced systems will cater to the evolving needs of the Indian Defence Forces, paramilitary forces, police organisations, central and state government agencies, as well as the civil sector and export markets.

The partnership will leverage the core strengths of both companies to enhance manufacturing infrastructure for components and sub-assemblies while also working on the modernization and upgradation of existing systems. This strategic initiative aligns with the Government of India’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ vision, reinforcing GRSE’s commitment to fostering indigenous technological capabilities in the defence sector.

With this collaboration, GRSE and AMS aim to enhance India's self-reliance in defence production while meeting the growing demands of both domestic and international markets.
