GRSE pays interim dividend of Rs 102.52 crore for FY 2024-25; hands over Rs 76.38 crore to Govt

New Delhi: Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd. (GRSE), a leading defence PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has declared and paid an interim dividend of Rs 102.52 crore for the financial year 2024-25. Out of this, the Government of India, as the majority stakeholder, received Rs 76.38 crore.

The interim dividend cheque has been formally handed over to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh by GRSE Chairman & Managing Director Cmde PR Hari, IN (Retd), at a ceremony held in New Delhi on Monday. The event was also attended by senior officials, including Secretary (Defence Production) Sanjeev Kumar; Joint Secretary (NS) Rajeev Prakash; Joint Secretary (DIP) Amit Satija; and GRSE's Director (Finance) RK Dash.

For FY 2024-25, GRSE has declared an interim dividend of Rs 8.95 per equity share of Rs 10 each, marking an increase from Rs 7.92 per share in FY 2023-24. The company has maintained a strong track record of rewarding its shareholders, having paid dividends consistently for the last 31 years.

As of March 31, GRSE’s order book stands at a robust Rs 22,680.75 crore, reflecting the shipbuilder’s healthy financial position and sustained performance in delivering strategic defence assets.
