GRSE pays interim dividend of Rs 44.10 crore for FY 2020-21

Defence Shipyard GRSE has paid an interim dividend of Rs 44.10 crores for the current financial year (FY 2020-21) to its shareholders

New Delhi: Kolkata based Miniratna Defence PSU Shipyard, GRSE has paid an interim dividend of Rs 44.10 crores for FY 2020-21 to its shareholders. An interim dividend cheque amounting to Rs 32.85 crore, as the government's share has been handed over to Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, by GRSE's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Rear Admiral VK Saxena, IN (Retd.) on Tuesday at New Delhi in the presence of Secretary (Defence Production) Raj Kumar.

Notwithstanding the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, GRSE has declared an interim dividend of Rs 3.85 per equity share of Rs.10 for FY 20-21. GRSE has been consistent in paying dividend to the Shareholders and has done so every year for the last 27 years.

Since its inception in 1960, GRSE has the distinction of being the only Defence Shipyard to have delivered more than 100 warships (107 warships as on date). The shipyard has an order book position that stands at Rs 25,887 crores as of December 31, 2020.
