GRSE Q2FY26 PAT rises 57% to Rs 154 crore

GRSE reported a 57 percent year-on-year increase in its Profit After Tax (PAT) for the second quarter of FY26, reaching Rs 154 crore compared to Rs 98 crore in the same period last year

New Delhi: Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has reported a 57 percent year-on-year increase in its Profit After Tax (PAT) for the second quarter of FY26, reaching Rs 154 crore compared to Rs 98 crore in the same period last year.

During the quarter ended September 30, the company’s total income rose 42 percent year-on-year to Rs 1,746 crore, while revenue from operations increased 45 percent to Rs 1,677 crore. Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) stood at Rs 225 crore, up 56 percent from Rs 144 crore a year ago. Profit Before Tax (PBT) climbed 60 percent to Rs 209 crore as against Rs 131 crore in Q2FY25.

For the first half of FY26, GRSE’s PAT stood at Rs 274 crore, an increase of 48 percent over Rs 185 crore recorded in H1FY25. The company’s total income during the six-month period rose 35 percent to Rs 3,128 crore, while revenue from operations grew 38 percent to Rs 2,987 crore.

Commenting on the results, Cmde PR Hari, IN (Retd.), Chairman and Managing Director of GRSE, said, “I am happy that we have been able to sustain the growth momentum and the Q2 results have been very encouraging. With a strong order book, result-oriented project execution strategy, and clear order visibility, I am confident of equally strong financial performance in the second half of FY26 also.”
