HSL hosts MSME Defence Conclave to boost participation in maritime sector

HSL organised an MSME Defence Conclave to promote greater participation of micro, small and medium enterprises in the maritime and underwater systems domain

New Delhi: Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) organised an MSME Defence Conclave in Vijayawada to promote greater participation of micro, small and medium enterprises in the maritime and underwater systems domain.

The event, held at Taj Vivanta in association with the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) and under the guidance of the Ministry of Defence, brought together industry bodies, MSMEs and start-ups to discuss emerging opportunities in the defence manufacturing ecosystem.

HSL's Director (Finance & Commercial) E Kiran attended the conclave as the Chief Guest, while Ministry of Defence's Deputy Director General KK Yadav participated as the Guest of Honour.

HSL said the conclave reflects its continued efforts to strengthen the MSME ecosystem in the maritime and defence sectors by facilitating collaboration, capacity building and industry engagement.
