New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has cleared the appointment of Manas Kaviraj as Director (Human Resources) at Advanced Weapons & Equipment India Limited (AWEIL). He was recommended for the post of Director (HR) of AWEIL by the PESB Selection panel. Presently, he is serving as Senior Executive Director at NBCC (India) Limited.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on August 21, Kaviraj will take charge of the new role in the defence public sector undertaking under the Department of Defence Production.
Advanced Weapons & Equipment India Limited (AWEIL), carved out of the erstwhile Ordnance Factory Board (OFB), is engaged in the production of arms, ammunition, and equipment for the Indian Armed Forces and paramilitary organisations.
