New Delhi: Commander Jasbir Singh is now set to take over as Director (S&HE) at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDSL) after his name was recommended for the post by the Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB). Singh was shortlisted after from a list of four candidates.
Among the people who were interviewed for the job, two, including Singh were from MDSL, one was from Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd (GRSE) and one was a senior official from the Indian Navy. Singh has served as a Commander in the Indian Navy for a period of 10 years. He started his career at MDSL as Deputy General Manager (Production) in June 2010. Singh went on to become Additional General Manager at the organisation and also overlooked the Scorpene Project as General Manager.
