Parliamentary Standing Committee visits BDL

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Welfare of Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes under Chairmanship of Dr Kirit P Solanki visited BDL on Monday

New Delhi: The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Welfare of Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes under the Chairmanship of Dr Kirit P Solanki, MP visited Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) on Monday. BDL's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Commodore Siddharth Mishra (Retd) apprised the Committee regarding the implementation of various welfare measures for employees belonging to Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes by BDL.

The committee appreciated the implementation of welfare measures being undertaken for SC and ST employees at BDL.

The committee also visited the in-house R&D division and missile production facilities at BDL Kanchanbagh Unit. BDL's Director (Technical) NP Diwakar, Director (Production) P Radha Krishna, Director (Finance) Srinivasulu, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) Dr Upender Vennam (IPoS) and other senior officials from BDL were present.
