PESB picks PV Raja Ram for BDL's Director (Production) post

The PESB panel has recommended the name of PV Raja Ram for the post of Director (Production) of Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) on Friday

New Delhi: PV Raja Ram is set to be next Director (Production) of Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a PSU under the Ministry of Defence. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Friday. Presently, he is serving as General Manager in the same organisation.

Raja Ram has been recommended for the post of Director (Production) of BDL from a list of eight candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting held on June 9. Out of eight candidates, three candidates were from BDL and one each from Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE), Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), Munitions India Limited (MIL) and Energy efficiency Services Limited (EESL).

As Director (Production) of BDL, Raja Ram will a member of Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will advise on all matters pertaining to production, productivity and technology.
