Piyush Ranjan set to be DS in Defence Ministry

New Delhi: Piyush Ranjan is set to be Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Defence. He has been selected to be appointed as Deputy Secretary (DS) by the Ministry of Defence, Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS). According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been selected for the appointment for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Ranjan is an Indian Defence Service of Engineers (IDSE) officer of 2002-batch. He was recommended for the Central deputation by the Ministry of Defence.
