Q1FY25: GRSE registers 13% growth in PAT

GRSE has shown continued high performance in Q1FY25 as the defence PSU has posted a PAT of Rs 87 Crore in Q1FY25 as against Rs 77 Crore in Q1FY24

Kolkata: one of the leading warship builders Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has announced its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2024, and the high performance of the defence PSU is on continuation. Total Income posted by the company for the Q1FY25 stood at Rs 1084 Crore against Rs 827 Crore in Q1FY 24 which showed a growth of 31% on year-on-year basis.

The defence PSU's revenue from operations has also increased registering a growth of 34 percent to Rs 1010 Crore in Q1FY25 from Rs 756 Crore in Q1FY24. While the Profit Before Tax (PBT) stood at Rs 115 Crore as against Rs 102 Crore in Q1FY24, registering a growth of 13 percent.

Commenting on the forward-looking results Cmde Hari PR, IN (Retd) CMD, GRSE, said, “The shipyard is on a growth trajectory and the Q1 FY25 financial results have been very encouraging. Considering our current order book and the project execution plan, I am confident of maintaining this upward trend in the coming years."

GRSE's Profit After Tax (PAT) also grew at 13 percent to Rs 87 Crore in Q1FY25 as against Rs 77 Crore in Q1FY24.
