New Delhi: The Secretary (Defence Production) Sanjeev Kumar (IAS) visited Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) on September 29. During his visit Secretary (DP) appreciated the infrastructure available at HSL and its proactive approach to managing projects for timely completion and yard’s future plans.

He also appreciated HSL's efforts toward the Govt of India's vision and urged the shipyard to further improve capital expenditure, invest in research and development, and increase the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies. He encouraged HSL to proactively pursue upcoming defense and commercial projects under ‘Make in India.’

While addressing to the HSL's senior management team, Secretary (DP) motivated the employees, wishing them success and urging them to continue their dedicated service with the highest level of integrity to the nation.
