Under his dynamic vision, BEML has emerged as a pioneer in next-generation mobility solutions, defence platforms, and sustainable mining equipment—cementing its role as a key enabler of India’s AatmaNirbhar Bharat mission.

The award was received on behalf of Shri Roy by Shri R. S. Chopra, CGM, BEML, at the event which brought together distinguished leaders and policymakers to chart the roadmap for public sector excellence by 2047.
