As part of the Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026, BEML’s Vigilance Department engaged with students, villagers, Panchayat representatives and workers to create awareness about ethical conduct, responsible use of public resources and measures to combat corruption.

At Ramohalli Village in Bengaluru South, BEML organised a Vigilance Awareness Gram Sabha on October 1, 2026, in association with Ramohalli Gram Panchayat and Government Higher Primary School, Ramohalli. Around 200 students, school staff, community representatives and BEML officials participated in the programme.

The Bengaluru programme placed particular emphasis on sensitising students about integrity and accountability in their daily lives. A skit on vigilance was also presented to communicate the message in a simple and relatable manner.

BEML also conducted a Vigilance Awareness Gram Sabha at Chullimada Village near Kanjikode in Palakkad on September 26, 2026. Around 70 participants, including members of Pudussery Gram Panchayat, VB-G RAM workers, BEML Vigilance officials and representatives of other departments, attended the programme.

The Palakkad programme focused on creating awareness about preventing corruption and informing citizens about available mechanisms for grievance redressal. Anti-corruption messages displayed at the venue further highlighted the role of citizens and institutions in promoting transparency and accountability.

Through these community-level initiatives, BEML is seeking to strengthen the culture of integrity and vigilance beyond its organisational boundaries and encourage greater public participation in efforts to promote ethical and transparent practices.
