Rourkela: The expert committee for Post Modernisation Capacity Assessment arrived at Rourkela on a two days visit to SAIL's Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) on November 27's night. The esteemed members of the committee are former Managing Director and CEO of Durgapur Steel Plant, former CEO of Durgapur Steel Plant & Bhilai Steel Plant Arun Kumar Rath, former General Manager (Operations) of SAIL Corporate Office Ashok Kumar Jha and former Chief General Manager (Business Planning) of SAIL's Corporate Officer Sanjay Kumar.

They interacted with RSP's CEO Dipak Chattaraj, Executive Director  (P&A) Raj Vir Singh, Executive Director (Works) Gautam Banerjee, Executive Director (MM) DK Mohapatra, Executive Director (Projects) Pankaj KumarChief General Manager (F&A) P Nigam, Director In-charge (M&HS) Dr SS Pati and other senior officers of RSP in a meeting organised at CEO's Conference Hall on Thursday.

The committee will be visiting different plant units and holding discussions with the senior officers of different departments.

Notably the committee is visiting all the integrated steel plants under SAIL to assess the post modernisation capacity enhancement and streamline the project activities.
