New Delhi: A one-day seminar was organised by Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Visakhapatnam Chapter, South India Regional Chapter (SIRC) at Visakhapatnam on Saturday.

Speaking at the seminar, the Chief Guest, RINL's Director (Personnel) Dr Suresh Chandra Pandey said that, “Company Secretaries Play a crucial role in institutionalising transparency and honesty in the country.” He enlightened and motivated the aspirants with the live and vivid examples of the roles and importance of Company Secretary.

The Guest of Honor L Siva Sankar, Deputy Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Mumbai also graced the occasion. CS R Venkata Ramana, Central Council Member, the ICSI, addressed the participants on Mergers and amalgamations. Another speaker Imtiyaz Arshad, CEO & Secretary, Skill Development Institute, Visakhapatnam taken session on Leadership and Team Building.

Around 35+ company secretaries members participated and CS Manoj Parakh, Chairman of the Chapter also interacted with participants.

CS Chalapathy Rao M, Secretary while proposing vote of thanks, informed that similar programs are many more in lineup in this year. Other Managing Committee members also participated and expressed Company Secretary as the preferred professional.
