CREDA wins 9th 'National Energy Management Award'

New Delhi: Chhattisgarh Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) has won the National Energy Management Award. CREDA CEO Rajesh Singh Rana (IAS) received the award given away to the agency in the Star Performance Award Category in an event organised here in New Delhi.

The event hosted the 9th edition of the National Energy Management Award organised by the Society of Energy Engineers Managers (SEEM).

The event was sponsored by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency.

CREDA has been given this award for exceptional energy-conservation performance among the state-designated-agency category. Gujarat's Renewable Energy Development Agency stood second. "We have achieved some major milestones in the area of energy conservation and renewable energy development under the able leadership of our Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai", said Rana commenting on the award.

CREDA Executive Engineer JN Baiga and Project Coordinator Nihar Ranjan Sahu were also present at the event.
