DMRC celebrated its 29th foundation day on Wednesday

New Delhi: State-owned Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said in a tweet that it celebrated its 29th foundation day on Wednesday. "Manoj Joshi, Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs & Chairman, DMRC, was the Chief Guest on the occasion, and Naresh Kumar, Chief Secretary, Government of Delhi graced the event as the Guest of Honour," it tweeted.

Annual Managing Director’s Awards

On the occasion, "The Annual Managing Director’s Awards were given to 57 worthy employees as a recognition for their outstanding contribution in last year," the tweet said. The 'Rajbhasha Purushkar' was also given for the first time for outstanding performance in the promotion and propagation of Hindi. Akash Kumar won the award.
