EIL celebrates 60th Foundation Day

Engineers India Limited (EIL) observed its 60th Foundation Day on March 15 with great fervour and pride

New Delhi: Engineers India Limited (EIL) observed its 60th Foundation Day on March 15 with great fervour and pride, celebrating the company’s stellar contribution towards development of energy infrastructure in the country over the past six decades. EIL's C&MD Vartika Shukla inaugurated the celebrations, which was attended by Functional Directors, CVO, senior officials and a large number of employees.

In her address, C&MD paid rich tributes to the founding fathers and past seniors of EIL, highlighting that EIL is built on the pillars of innovation, integrity and excellence and spurred all to work together in thrusting the organisation to newer heights. “As we embark on the journey ahead, inspired by our past and empowered by our vision for the future, we look forward to building on our legacy of engineering excellence and scaling greater heights of success in service of Bharat,” she added.

On this occasion, a blood donation camp was organised at HO, New Delhi wherein EIL employees wholeheartedly took part, fostering awareness about the benefits of this noble initiative. Later in the day, long service awards ceremony was organised by the company to honour employees for their dedicated services to the company. The programme was also attended by family members of employees receiving the honours.
