EIL CMD bags 'CMD of the Year' award

New Delhi: Engineers India Limited's (EIL) Chairperson & Managing Director (CMD) Vartika Shukla has been bestowed with the prestigious "CMD of the Year" award under the Navratna category at the 13th PSE Excellence Awards, hosted by the Indian Chamber of Commerce in New Delhi on December 20.

This recognition is a testimony to the outstanding leadership of Shukla who has exemplified inspired leadership, policy advocacy, fostering strategic alliances, and innovation in the realm of energy, environment, and sustainability. Shukla's leadership acumen has steered EIL towards numerous triumphs and her experience has been instrumental in the successful implementation of prestigious projects in high-impact sectors.

In the 13th PSE Excellence Awards, EIL also emerged as runner up in four categories: "Operational Performance Excellence", "Corporate Governance," "Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability," and "Inclusivity- Contribution of Women and Differently-Abled In."

"The awards received by EIL in four important categories reflect our commitment to provide services fully aligned with the emerging needs of the industry and society at large," Shukla said while congratulating the teams for their achievements.
